ABSTRACT:
Using storage virtualization delivers many benefits to a storage environment. Yet despite these alluring advantages, storage virtualization is being implemented at a much slower pace than server virtualization. One reason for this is that while all server virtualization approaches are basically the same, vendor approaches to storage virtualization differ greatly.
This Webcast will examine what types of storage environments make the best candidates for a storage virtualization initiative. It will list the obstacles to implementing storage virtualization and suggest tactics and tips for overcoming them.
