ABSTRACT:
The enterprise is becoming more distributed, decentralized and global. A new vision and approach to load balancing is needed, one that accommodates the often competing demands of traffic management over Local and Global networks.
Today's networking professional is responsible not only for the performance of the global network, but often for speed of the applications running over the network as well. In a distributed network, load balancers play an important role in improving application performance, especially for transaction-intensive apps and content with high-bandwidth demands such as video. This webcast explores how networking pros can use load balancers and their more advanced descendants, including application switches and application delivery controllers, to ensure efficient application traffic, content delivery and web services across all network locations.
