Cforia was founded in 2001 by technology veterans with extensive experience in ERP applications like SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards. One area that ERP applications fail to optimize are the workflows around accounts receivable. Cash is king and ERP providers were forcing AR departments to use off-platform tools to manage their processes. After the technology rush of Y2K, they realized that companies were going to focus on point solutions that built on their existing technology investments and maximized return on investment. Their focus was to deliver an application suite that optimized AR performance and to do so in a practical, accessible and efficient way. Too many third-party software providers forced their customers to work around their technology requirements and not the other way around.
